Between 17 - 30 March, 2006, SCOTT POHLSCHMIDT exhibited a collection of his works at the Leighton House Museum, Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, London.
Scott's first solo exhibition offered a special opportunity for the public to see the unique versatility and vibrant newness of his work alongside the rich and varied works of eminent classical painter and President of the Royal Academy, Lord Leighton.
As an artist, Lord Leighton was a leading exponent of classical painting and sculpture, a tradition that Scott, through both his artwork and his school, Lavender Hill Studios, keeps alive.
The Leighton House Museum, built in 1864 as a showcase for artistic and aesthetic taste,
offered an ideal setting for this event.
